BMW International Women's Day 2019
Aurora Straus began racing cars at the age of 15, making her the only teenage female sports car racer in North America. But her ambitions have never been limited to the race track. Also a musician and hard-working student, Aurora graduated high school cum laude and, at 18, was accepted to Harvard University.
She then deferred the offer and went on to train and race in the Pirelli World Challenge — one of its youngest competitors in history.
We’ve teamed up with BMW to share her inspiring story as a piece of film, set to launch on International Women’s Day. With striking race shots and an emotional read of her acceptance letter, we can bring Aurora’s relentless, contagious pursuit to life.
Power doesn’t choose between passions. It chases both.
